Chairs - if your group has a dependency on Web IDL, please read this
e-mail ...
During the Web Application WG's face-to-face meeting at TPAC [1], the
group was made aware several documents are blocked on the Web IDL CR [2].
The group discussed the dependency issues and resolved to advise others
to use idlharness.js [3] to demonstrate proper use of Web IDL in
specifications. The Web Performance WG is now using idlharness to test
its usage of Web IDL, for example:
<http://w3c-test.org/webperf/tests/approved/navigation-timing/html5/idlharness.html>
<http://w3c-test.org/webperf/tests/approved/HighResolutionTime/idlharness.html>
Note that idlharness.js is not complete yet but does cover several parts
of the specification. If you have any questions/comments/etc. about
idlharness or your document uses a feature not yet supported by
idlharness, please use the following list:
public-test-infra@w3.org (archive [4])
