Hi All, I agree with Ms2ger there is probably little value/rationale to add the Web SQL Database test suite given WebApps agreed almost one year ago to stop work on that spec [1]. That said, I don't object to it getting added (provided the status of the "spec" is properly noted). Others? Kris, PLH - did the HTML WG take Infraware's Offline Application Cache test suite? Jhlee - what is the status of uploading your Web Storage test suite contribution per WebApps' testing process [2]? -Regards, Art Barstow [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/NOTE-webdatabase-20101118/ [2] http://www.w3.org/2008/webapps/wiki/Testing On 8/9/11 12:44 PM, ext Ms2ger wrote: > Forwarding this to webapps as well. > > By the way, please note that, given the current status of WebSQL [1], > there is probably little interest in maintaining a test suite for it. > > Ms2ger > > [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/webdatabase/ > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: RE: Test submission > Date: Tue, 9 Aug 2011 13:46:36 +0900 > From: 이종흔 <jhlee@infraware.co.kr> > To: Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org> > CC: Ms2ger <ms2ger@gmail.com>, <public-html-testsuite@w3.org>, Kris > Krueger <krisk@microsoft.com> > > I'll try to re-edit. > It will take 2~3 days. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Philippe Le Hegaret [mailto:plh@w3.org] > Sent: Friday, August 05, 2011 3:55 AM > To: Kris Krueger > Cc: Ms2ger; public-html-testsuite@w3.org; 이종흔 > Subject: RE: Test submission > > On Thu, 2011-08-04 at 15:52 +0000, Kris Krueger wrote: >> Plh can you confirm that jhlee has done what is required to properly >> license his submission? > > Confirmed. > > Fyi, the text in the form says: > [[ > The Contributor hereby grants to the W3C, a perpetual, non-exclusive, > royalty-free, world-wide right and license under any Contributor > copyrights in this contribution to copy, publish, use, and modify the > contribution and to distribute the contribution under a BSD License or > one with more restrictive terms, as well as a right and license of the > same scope to any derivative works prepared by the W3C and based on, or > incorporating all or part of the contribution.
