kvnloo left a comment (w3c/gamepad#74) With Chromium now measuring gamepad input-to-event latency using the gamepad timestamp, preserving useful timestamp semantics has a direct performance-testing benefit. A good privacy/performance compromise seems to be the existing context-relative time origin rather than reducing timestamp resolution aggressively. High-resolution relative timestamps let applications measure input latency without providing a stable cross-context absolute clock. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/w3c/gamepad/issues/74#issuecomment-5941897046 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
