I cannot stress enough how much complexity and misery this has saved me from. Having to keep track of which segments can be ToUnicode'd with which other segments was going to be an absolute blight on my codebase that would infect every API it touched and that is just gone.

A massive thank you to every old and/or buggy URL parser that did this prematurely and to everyone who pushed and worked to get this upstreamed into the spec.

For intended usage this is a tiny change but for my absurd ambitions this is the world.
