Think YouTube auto-selecting a certain bandwidth based on your network speed, but the user having the ability to change that up to 4k if they really want to, despite the app thinking it might struggle with that. Oh 100% I agree. I was just speculating on where Marcos's concern about "site misuse" might come from, and sites failing to provide such an override UI is one possible misuse I could imagine.
