It has now been 9 years, and we still are suffering from this one-sided decision from the WhatWG to implement fetch this way. Can we at least get some progress or some form of communication regarding the QUERY HTTP verb? That would not fix the complete lack of respect shown by this unilateral decision, but at least it would show some good faith.

Let's remember that when this was done, the standard was not explicitly forbidding it, and only when this issue started gaining traction, the standard was changed without a word to accommodate this change.
