Failing that, an update to the tests to match this behavior would probably be needed, but I don't particularly like that in October of Interop. I assume you're talking about the Storage Access API WPTs, since I had messaged you privately to let you know we were planning on updating those tests to use bidi. But I think you're right, they don't have to be updated. (I spent today reading the spec and experimenting, and wrote https://crrev.com/c/7093216 to fix chromedriver.)
