EisenbergEffect left a comment (WICG/webcomponents#1116) @noamr I look forward to reviewing a proposal. I'm happy to explore how I would rework my compiler/runtime code once we have something more concrete. My time is limited for that, but I can do some kind of feasibility exploration. When we do have a draft, let's also be sure to get other framework authors to evaluate it. Additionally, we should think about the polyfill approach. That will be tricky because framework authors won't want to switch to a standard that isn't widely supported if the polyfill causes them significant performance regressions. Render perf is a major "marketing" concern for these communities. If a library chooses to standardize and then their position in perf benchmarks drops because the polyfill can't perform competitively with their previous non-standard approach, then you will see heavy delays in adoption. -- Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub: https://github.com/WICG/webcomponents/issues/1116#issuecomment-3553072691 You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
