I was told that @caseq and @mlippautz are the people to ask about Web IDL bindings in Chromium these days.

@yuki3 who used to work on them also said

> +1 to drop the check of the argument count in attribute setters. When I tried to make it conform to the spec years ago, I wasn't able to add the check because of perf regressions.

Anyway, Chromium feedback is not blocking this change, if Gecko and WebKit are already supportive. So there is no need to wait for any response, if you want to submit a pull request.
