My concern with `delegatesTo` is that it's not explicit about what is being delegated. If we're limiting the functionality of this property strictly to delegating references to the host (whether via ID or element reference), which I think we should, I think the name should reflect that. In particular, I think we should leave ourselves room to consider a parallel feature which would allow delegating attributes on the host in a similar way.
