johanneswilm left a comment (w3c/editing#520) As for the length of the EditContext - this has been discussed in the past and a note on this should have been added to the spec. AFAIR, the context should be long enough to allow for the IME to understand enough to give good suggestions - so around one-three paragraphs maybe.
