This. Unlike the "migration from X" need which is ephemeral or the "I want to use my existing solution..." which is a preference, this need speaks to a core coupling the leads to undesirable limitations:

If I **_need_** to leverage Shadow DOM to facilitate seamless DOM composition, I **_must_** contend with style encapsulation.
