Re: [WICG/webcomponents] "open-stylable" Shadow Roots (#909)

Do we want open styleable components is not a relevant question. There are libs which implemented it already, including the slots support. The reason was in the demand, in CMS space in particular. Those are mostly enterprize portals where generic theme is given and each component should follow not just convention but actually reuse the same theme CSS rules.

Another reason is in library-given theme branding/customization without the need to penetrate the shadow. It is a simple cost and ability to customize otherwise completly sealed box.

That is a component author side of story, and there is a customer one. Which is completely opposite.
