None that I know of. The link is pointing to an inappropriate section of the mimesniff spec due to this principle initially triggered by the AVIF review (I should fix that.) but the main reason for media files is to reduce magical behavior for newer formats. This mildly conflicts with the priority of constituencies we emphasize (as noted by the hint of "inconvenience") but this is the general consensus we came to. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
