Re: [w3c/editing] Should we modify the clipboard API spec to match Safari's behavior for HTML-referenced media? (#285)

I am working on an HTML app which consumes the images copied from native apps and allows users to paste it in our app and vice versa. I have a few questions from the POV of the consumers of this change.
1. Will there be any change to how the <img> src is represented for a single image and would the change be breaking change? If so can we please get a rough timeline of when this change hits production as it would potentially break our app which is consuming images from native apps
2. Do we need to make any change from HTML side to what we are copying to the clipboard when the image is being copied from our app?
