Re: [whatwg/dom] Declarative Shadow DOM (#831)

What? @rniwa, I'm really trying to be open and find the solution here. Hopefully you remember that [I'm the one that brought this issue to the attention of this thread](https://github.com/whatwg/dom/issues/831#issuecomment-713726883). I actually find your approach to be the counterproductive one. Here, let me quote [myself](https://github.com/whatwg/dom/issues/831#issuecomment-717311825):

Where did I say "this doesn't matter"?

In general, and particularly when developing new features, I always try to go with data. You can always fool yourself into thinking something **is** or **isn't** a problem, if you don't try to go verify it. You've made a hypothesis about some problems - my question was: "Great! Can you help us narrow down how big or small of a problem that might be? And where it might live, so we know how to try to address it?". And it seems (please correct me if I'm wrong) that your response is that since you hypothesized a problem, it must exist, and we must need to solve it. Without verifying that there is indeed a problem. Again, lest you mis-quote me, I'm **not** saying there isn't a problem here. I'm trying to narrow down **what** the problem is, and therefore, **how** to fix it.
