I'm still on leave so I'll let @raymeskhoury speak for me. I had a quick look at the proposal and it looks fairly similar to what I had. I don't have any objections to Aaron taking and working on this but I'm out of the loop. Check with Raymes / Chrome team to see if they have any plans to work on this.
