FWIW, IE had a meta tag called `msapplication-notification`, which you would give 1-5 endpoints that could provide data used in the live tile, and it would poll on a provided number of minutes. It seemed to strike a nice balance between accurate/useful icons and not the animation nightmare marcos posted :D Perhaps a event that is fired N minutes inside of the SW could allow folks to update content when needed? -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
