So... although we can define processing in IDL, we need to be careful if we are going to expose these on the web. In particular, “foo_bar” property names would make this API inconsistent with the rest of the platform. It’s a bit similar (but obviously not the same) as CSS in JS, where “foo-bar” becomes “fooBar”.
