The goal and desired effect: hook into the custom element lifecycle predictably with ease and simplicity, adding functionality to elements which were created already. @annevk call it whatever you want, I say that (for me) it's not about calling it (or not calling it) anything and rather about the functionality I described several times now. As long as decision makers and influencers on the browser teams are happy with it, and it's highly useful to the majority of use cases, that would seem to me to be the desired articulation and outcome. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
