There might not be a need per se, though there may be individuals, e.g., here, that simply code for coding itself and try the code at most recent browsers - again not for production, but for coding itself. 

At one point previously https://github.com/whatwg/streams/issues/765#issuecomment-323793185 compiled the code for use at browser. Is that the only procedure available, that is, RYO compiled version?
