Re: [w3c/manifest] Should appinstalled / beforeinstallprompt fire on native app installation? (#514)

I don't see this being a problem for Microsoft/Edge as we  control both the store and the browser (much like the situation on chrome / android).  We always want to encourage apps so we would likely take advantage of this.  However I would agree with @marcoscaceres that this may disadvantage other browsers on our platforms.
