@annevk so what you are saying, is that the implementors' input trumps the input of users? As pointed out https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/issues/354#issuecomment-178498561 the consensus you talk about was never documented. In other words, you did not follow W3C process and give others an opportunity to voice their concerns. I also notice that none of you have commented on my summary of the arguments https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/issues/499#issuecomment-219111561, I assume because it is pointing out how weak the pro-position actually is.
