The problem is that *nothing* currently is prepared to handle non-string attribute values. Nor are libraries/frameworks, nor are browsers. To make this work would be a lot harder than it actually looks like. Browsers would have to *completely* change the way they handle attributes, and that’s not trivial. > properties aren't guaranteed to exist, but attributes are.
