@ManuelB I think what you want is the [Wake Lock API](https://w3c.github.io/wake-lock/)... but with some additions we are yet to add to the spec: you could set a "CPU lock", which would keep the page alive, but would allow the screen to sleep (and maybe generate notifications as needed).
