Yeah this is a problem the blink API owners (especially @foolip and I) have spent some time worrying about, but don't yet have any super-promising practical ideas around.  We should think about it further and we'd love your help!  We're ramping up our investments in our compat tooling, deprecation process, interop efforts, etc. I filed [this chromium bug](https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=608040) to track.
