Re: [w3c/webcomponents] Shadow dom: use css containment features by default (#355)

Could someone summarize why we can restrict shadow trees by default by these css containment features? It's still unclear to me.

Are we requesting authors' "opt-in" (by overriding UA stylesheet), instead of "opt-out"? Is that a motivation?
