Re: [editing-explainer] Can we use textnodes, and block/inline nodes as shadow roots for transparent IME handling? (#57)

@johanneswilm : We would be opposed to supporting shadow roots on text nodes.  Supporting a feature like that will dramatically increase the complexity and the implementation cost of shadow DOM or whatever alternative name we give it to this feature.
