Yeah, so I don't see how `::slot` is actually a bad name given the description in http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-scoping/#content-combinator Perhaps ::shadow-slot if you want to scope the naming somewhat. (What @hayatoito describes above for what `::content` would do does not match the description in the CSS specification.
