yes, step 3 happens because the JS code listened to the event emitted in 2.

Also the other steps should work without problem: 1 leads to 2, 2 leads to 3, 4 leads to 5, 5 leads to 6.

Just the connection of how 3 and 4 are connected are somewhat blurry to me.
