@zcorpan thank you for the relevant point of view, I understand your reasoning behind both of them.
However some of the late additions to the global do not follow that exact reasoning.
For example API like `window.requestAnimationFrame()` and `window.cancelAnimationFrame()`, or speaking of recent properties additions `window.localStorage` and `window.sessionStorage` which are the new `document.cookie` alternatives/replacements.
For something older in time, see the `window.location` property which is a duplicate of the `document.location` property.
There are surely other examples of this.
