Bug ID: 24241
Summary: Adopt the ES6 "safe integer" range for (unsigned) long
longs
Product: WebAppsWG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebIDL
Assignee: cam@mcc.id.au

The request is for WebIDL to consider adopting ES6's "safe integer" range for
its (unsigned) long long ES conversions steps ([EnforceRange]).
Some reasoning on why this is preferable is outlined via
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-script-coord/2014JanMar/0000.html
