Bug ID: 22506
Summary: Named properties object should probably not be a
function object
Classification: Unclassified
Product: WebAppsWG
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: WebIDL
Assignee: cam@mcc.id.au
Reporter: peterv@propagandism.org
QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: bzbarsky@mit.edu, mike@w3.org,

The spec currently says "A named properties object must be a function object".
It's not clear why this is the case. Also, the named properties object doesn't
follow the first characteristic of a function object ("Its [[Prototype]]
internal property is the Function prototype object").
