https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=22790 Bug ID: 22790 Summary: [Shadow]: Rename 'insertion points' to 'distribution points'. Classification: Unclassified Product: WebAppsWG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Component Model Assignee: dglazkov@chromium.org Reporter: hayato@chromium.org QA Contact: public-webapps-bugzilla@w3.org Blocks: 14978 How about this idea? I have a feeling that a term of 'insert' is widely used in DOM core. e.g. http://dom.spec.whatwg.org/#node-is-inserted Using 'insert' in Shadow DOM spec is very confusing since its meaning and usage are different from the one in DOM core. To avoid confusion, I'd like to use 'distribute', instead, anywhere as possible as we can. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
