[EASSS 2025] Request to disseminate call for participation

Dear colleagues,

This year, POLITEHNICA Bucharest is excited to host the European Agent Systems Summer School (EASSS 2025)<https://easss.upb.ro/>, taking place from September 1st to 3rd.
The last day of the summer school overlaps with the first day of the European Conference on Multi-Agent Systems (EUMAS 2025)<https://euramas.github.io/eumas2025/>, which is also organized by UNSTPB and runs from September 3rd to 5th.
A key focus for both the summer school and EUMAS this year is the topic of Multi-Agent Systems Engineering and Generative AI.
The shared day between the two events will feature an industry keynote from UIPath (a world-leading company in Agentic Workflow Management and Robotic Process Automation) on AI agents for workflow management, as well as a Community Session — an informal discussion event hosted by the Engineering MAS community on how to build MAS in the GenAI era. This session, in particular, offers summer school participants a chance to see how a research community tackles major shifts in their field and identifies new directions.
Confirmed tutorials for the summer school already include topics like “Meta-learning for Reward-Based Learning”, “Interaction-Oriented Programming”, and a tutorial on Agentic AI delivered by UIPath.
Students with a research project related to (or adjacent to) MAS topics can get feedback from senior researchers at EUMAS by submitting a poster and taking part in the joint EASSS/EUMAS Poster Session. Details on how to apply are available on the EASSS website.
We encourage you to support the participation of Master's and PhD students—as well as exceptional Bachelor's students—who are interested in Multi-Agent Systems in attending EASSS 2025.
Registration for participants is open until July 25th, with options to participate in EASSS only or EASSS + EUMAS and financial support for student travel and accommodation.
