Dear all, In Europe, there exists an association (COST) that helps funding research cooperation and networking (not research itself) via networking projects on specific topics (COST Actions). An action is ongoing to build and consolidate the European research community on the topic of Distributed Knowledge Graphs (DKG). This COST Action has 4 working groups that are all more or less relevant to WebAgents: - WG1 on DKG providers - WG2 on DKG consumers - WG3 on DKG prosumers - WG4 on systems for DKGs I am the leader of WG3 and I believe that WebAgents are typical prosumers (providers+consumers) of DKGs. Being part of a WG allows you to get funding for meetings of the action as well as apply for short term scientific missions in a foreign country. If you are in Europe and interested in this topic, you can do the following: - create an account on the e-Cost platform (https://e-services.cost.eu/) - search for the action on Distributed Knowledge Graphs (CA19134) - apply for one or more working groups (you need to justify you involvement) Applications are reviewed by WG leaders. Moreover, the action is organising online seminars that Fabien Gandon advertised in a previous email. In addition, we (the chairs of this CG) are considering organising an in-person event with funding from the DKG action.
