Introduction - Fabien Gandon

Hello everyone, 

I am a senior researcher at Inria where I lead a research team called Wimmics and based in Sophia Antipolis France

I am also the Advisory Committee representative of Inria at W3C since 2012 where I previously committed several crimes such as working on the GRDDL recommendation or the RDF/XML syntax 
My group contributed to several standards (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL, etc.) and provided implementations in the CORESE open-source library:

I initially graduated as an engineer in applied mathematics but my research background really is in knowledge graphs on the Web and even though my PhD started at the end of the previous century it was on multi-agent systems to manage distributed RDF sources

Since then I remained interested in semantic Web, linked data, social Web, ontologies, knowledge graphs, KR and AI in general.
