FYI, I looked at IMSC 1.2 for a privacy review, and I think some Web security concepts are relevant as well. My notes here: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-privacy/2020JanMar/0055.html I don’t believe the TTML specs refer to secure transport, but that seems like an important characteristic for these caption/accessibility documents as well. If captions or further external resources aren’t loaded securely when referenced from media that is loaded over a secure transport, then users won’t receive the same confidentiality or integrity of the subtitles. I don’t know if we’ve discussed that previously with Timed Text or not. Thanks, Nick
