It would probably have been more productive if different takes on this other
path had been discussed which also includes the possibility of linking the
Web and App worlds.

BTW, the anticipated Web-enabled version of Apple Pay will most certainly build
on a fairly simple Web to App hook.  Don't forget where you read it first :-)
