Hey all, Later this year we’ll be renewing our charter and, looking ahead, it’s clear that while we’ve made significant progress over the past few years — thank you all for great collaboration — there is still a lot for us to think about, explore, and build to help improve performance on the web. To that end, with Todd’s departure at the end of last year, we would love to backfill his co-chair position to help us keep the group humming and productive: help with day-to-day group and W3C operations, reinforce and build new connections between groups and wider developer ecosystem, and help steer our web performance efforts towards where the web performance community needs them most. On the tactical side, you’d be committing to help: Run bi-weekly group calls, record them, and make sure they are properly minuted - by assigning scribes and making sure the minutes properly reflect the call. Organize agenda for and run the group’s F2F meetings: TPAC, interims, etc. Support and work with spec authors to help them unblock outstanding issues, and help them move their work along the W3C track. Engage with wider industry to help us keep the flow of precious feedback on all the various proposals and incubations. If this sounds exciting, and something that you’d be interested and able to commit time to, please reach out to Ilya, Philippe, and myself and let us know you’re interested. Cheers :) Yoav
