Introduction

Dear WoT group,

I am Antoine Zimmermann and I just joined this group last week. Let me
introduce myself: I am an associate professor at École des Mines de
Saint-Étienne (France). My research interest is the Semantic Web and
related things. I tend to be more interested in the reasoning part of
the Semantic Web activity, especially formal stuff about reasoning with
heterogeneous knowledge from multiple sources or multiple contexts. But
my interests cover much more aspects of the Semantic Web, and in fact,
the Web in general. My key concern in all that I propose is
interoperability. I am very much interested in Web standards and making
things compatible with Web technologies.

I participated in the past in the OWL 2 Working Group, then in the RDF
1.1 Working Group, now in the Spatial Data on the Web Working Group. I
am also an observer in the RDF Stream Processing Community Group, the
WebID Community Group. I'd like to be more than an observer in this
group, but if I fail to expend the days beyond 24 hours, I'm afraid
It'll not happen.

I may have interested input from time to time, though, since I have a
student working specifically on the WoT, and I believe his approach is
very original and pertinent. I'll certainly have occasions to discuss it.

BTW: what is TF-DI? From a superficial look at the wiki, I could not
find a list of task forces.
