I think this is a good idea but I wonder if it wouldn't be a good time thinking about the entire application. Note : I know ZERO about how those applications work today but I would be surprised if they are suited for mobile phones. In my opinion you would rather download a key which then would be used over NFC i a challenge response mode where the challenger must also provide knowledge to the key. This could for example be done through an X.509 certificate.
