There is basically: NFC Forum Type 1: This uses ISO/IEC 14443-3A (NFC-A) NFC Forum Type 2: This uses ISO/IEC 14443-3A (NFC-A) NFC Forum Type 3: This uses JIS X 6319-4 (ISO/IEC 18092 / NFC-F) aka FeliCa (that is what is used in Japan) NFC Forum Type 4: This uses ISO/IEC 14443-4 A/B (NFC-A, NFC-B) - optional support for ISO-DEP (Data Exchange Protocol defined in ISO/IEC 14443 (ISO/IEC 14443-4:2008 Part 4: Transmission protocol) NFC Forum Type 5: This uses ISO/IEC 15693 (NFC-V) MIFARE Standard: This uses ISO/IEC 14443-3A (NFC-A) So there seems to be NFC-A, NFC-B, NFC-F, NFC-V and ISO-DEP - maybe there is a Mifare thing as well -- GitHub Notification of comment by kenchris Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/web-nfc/issues/355#issuecomment-534524809 using your GitHub account
