> 99.999% PCs don't have NFC readers Although this number may be slightly exaggerated, this particular issue (which I have mentioned on multiple occasions), is of _no concern to Intel_ who's primary objective (based on https://w3c.github.io/web-nfc/use-cases.html, earlier list conversations, and a Skype conference), is getting rid of _perfectly working_ "Apps" in mobile devices like e-passport readers.
