Abstract:
(cited from the above IPTV Forum Japan's Web site)
[[
There are variety of discussions by stakeholders in the world on the
next generation television which accomplishes smarter collaboration of
Web and TV technologies these days.

And we would like to hold a Symposium on Web and TV to:

- share perspectives on how to implement next generation television
     with all the stakeholders all over the world and

- discuss actual use case and technology requirements on what the
     possible next generation television should be like.

This symposium consists of various presentations and panel
discussions. And we would like all the stakeholders in the Web and TV
technology area, e.g., broadcasters, telecom companies, CE vendors and
SNS providers, to participate in the symposium so that we could have
fruitful discussion on the topics during the symposium.
]]

Thanks,

Kazuyuki
