Hello everyone, Google recently released a new proposal named DoveKey which "simplifies the bidding and auction aspects of TURTLEDOVE by introducing a third-party KEY-value server.” We at Magnite think TURTLEDOVE and DoveKey could be improved further by allowing the Publisher to retain control of the auction. We’d like to introduce PARRROT: the Publisher Auction Responsibility Retention Revision of TurtleDove It’s open for comments and PRs and we’d love to hear feedback and present during the next group meeting. There was talk of having Google present DoveKey next week, if so we should probably present after as our proposal builds on DoveKey. However, we’d be happy to do our best to summarize the relevant portions before diving into PARRROT. Thanks, -Brad Rodriguez Magnite
