[WCAG2ICT] Goals for remainder of 2023

Hi all,

I hope all who celebrated Thanksgiving last week had some time off to relax and have fun with family and friends.

I’m sending this email to refocus the WCAG2ICT efforts to achieve some important goals before the year is out. We really need to make progress on these things to make our goal of publishing our next draft in early March. There is about a month prior to the publication taken by AG WG, W3C reviews, and the publication process so we need to get drafted content in the document ASAP. Here’s the work we need to complete:


  *   Issue 258 - SC 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum) updates (SC notes and closed functionality bullet)
  *   Issue 41 – New draft content for SC 3.2.6 Consistent Help
  *   Closed functionality bullets (there’s 5 SC we still need to agree on that were surveyed as well as 9 SC that the TF indicated needed changes or new closed functionality bullets are needed – we need proposals for these changes.) I will handle the first 5 to propose adjustments to the language. The remaining 9 will need content proposals.   *   Address remaining issues (14 of them) TF member comments<https://github.com/w3c/wcag2ict/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22Member+Comment%22> and public comments<https://github.com/w3c/wcag2ict/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22Public+Comment%22+-label%3A%22TF+answer+completed%22> with an agreed response. Some of these are assigned, but the assignee may need some assistance.
