[WCAG2ICT] Meeting minutes from 20 April

Hi all,

I think we made a lot of progress on 1.4.10 Reflow in yesterday’s meeting. Thank you again Alastair for joining us and contributing to the CSS pixel conversation.

Summary:

  *   Announcements: The editor’s draft is much improved with the WCAG inserted SC text and headings. Work remains but it is progressing well. Will have to use the latest netlify build<https://wcag2ict.netlify.app/> to see changes.
  *   Project standup:
     *   Work is beginning on the Text, command line, and terminal applications this week.
     *   Discussion topic is still open on the closed functionality work breakdown approach.
     *   2.5.1 Pointer Gestures is in survey, deadline extended to 26 April.
     *   Please take up open issues on the existing document or the new WCAG 2.2 SC. Prioritize the new SCs with “CSS pixel” in them per today’s discussion so we can ensure a consistent approach.
  *   SC 1.4.10 Reflow:
     *   Discussed survey results.
     *   Agreed to use “device independent pixel”.
     *   Discussed Mitch’s proposal for non-web software.
     *   Not discussed were Mitch’s proposed updates for non-web software.
