Hi, all. Ben is asking for our help in making sure that the documents in the WIKI are truly ready for conversion to XML. He's created a checklist (in the message below) of items we need to check. There are three categories: General stuff How to Meet documents Techniques and Failures We're in pretty good shape on these things, but this is a useful list and it will be good for us to go through the documents again just tomake sure. Ben will be using an automated conversion process to convert these documents from WIKI to XML. The automation isn't smart enough to fix our mistakes, so we need to do what we can to help it along. Before our Team B call on Tuesday (4 April), I'll review the documents related to GL 3.1 against Ben's checklist. Can anyone do the same for GL 2.4 and 1.3? Thanks! I'm hoping that the more we can do to have the wiki in the best shape possible before I start the conversion to XML, the more smoothly and quickly everything will be ready for publication. General: - Have survey comments been incorporated? - Has the draft been approved for publication? - Have inline comments been removed? - Are there links to techniques or how to meet documents that should be deleted? - Are there any spelling, punctuation or grammatical mistakes or broken links that need to be fixed? How to Meet: - Is the SC numbering consistent with the latest guidelines draft? - Is the string, "[DRAFT]" included before each link to techniques that have not been approved/completed for publication? (Note this is a new requirement that the Wiki2XML converter will use to determine whether a link should be active or not) - Does the How to Meet document include up-to-date Technique titles? - Is there at least one sufficient technique for each situation ready for publication? - Are all listed failures ready for publication? Techniques: - Do the headings match those in the Techniques Template [1]? - Is the technique categorized correctly [2] (ex. [[Category:Tech Techniques]])? Anything to add? I'd really appreciate any help I can get in getting through this as I need to be able to focus on the XML and XSLT in order for us to wrap this up ASAP.
