Surveys - to do b4 monday - dont leave open without specific recommendation.

There is a survey open til Monday night.


There will probably be another as well later this weekend.

 

These are a part of our new two pass system.    See if we can hit a home run
on the issues early in week - and where we miss, see if we can address
issues and resurvey in time for the meeting.

 

 

 

Please note that in filling out a survey - *if you want to keep an issue
OPEN* that has *anything to do with the guidelines* - you need to *say
exactly what you want to have done this week to close the issue*.   

 

We can't have any non-editorial issues left open.  If you think we have a
show-stopper issue (and any issue that affects success criteria, glossary,
or conformance is a show-stopper) then we need to specify exactly what needs
to be done to close it.   

 

Comments like "language is too technical" look like they should be left
open.  But if we don't have any plan to change it then we need to close it
and say we've done the best we can.  If we DO intend to change the language
then we need concrete proposals as to what we are going to change this week.


 

Ditto with other open ended issues. 

 

A comment like "need more examples" is fine to leave open.      We have
specifically not pushed that area - and it is non-normative so can be added
as we go along.
